and Kendall is not here. Very sorry. She couldn't make it today, but we've got a very, very interesting

episode for you. Nonetheless, we're going to be covering the suspicious death of Maria

Cruz, although I think by the end of this, you may think this is just a full-blown murder

that happened here, as well as a man named Dean Fiello, who is going to make you question every

medical professional who claims they're a medical professional going

forward, I think. This guy manipulated and lied his way to the top, and subsequently, someone died

because of his lies. And yeah, this case is a crazy one, so buckle up. But Ian and Janelle are here with me. Of course, I'm not actually totally alone. That'd be a little sad for me, I think. I can't even remember the last time I've done Mile Hire totally alone. Have you ever done that? I don't think so. No. I think I've only done that on Lights Out, but not here on Myal Har. Never alone.

Today's the day. Goodbye. They're going to leave me all alone. But yeah, let's just go ahead and get right into things here because this case has got lots of twists and turns. But let's start by talking about Maria Cruz. So Sunday,

April 13th, 2003, and it was a perfect spring day in Manhattan, New York. Low morning temperatures

reached the 60s, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. And that's when 35-year-old Maria

Cruz walked out of her luxury high-rise apartment building over

there on West 50th Street.

She was petite, only 4 feet 11 and 90 pounds, and constant workouts at her local gym and

daily jogs around Central Park had made her look 10 years younger, a beautiful woman.

And while much isn't known about Maria's early life, we know that she grew up in the Philippines,

and it was the youngest of seven siblings. Maria was earnest and industrious, working her way

through Manila's Marynoy College, and graduating cum laude with a communications degree, actually.

And in 1992, she moved to the Big Apple, New York City and enrolled at Fordham University,

eventually receiving her master's degree with honor. So a very, very smart woman as well.

And following graduation, she took a job as a financial analyst at Citibank, before she and a team
