When beginning gardeners ask me what they should grow in their gardens, and by extension, what they mean is what are some of the easiest crops that you can grow in your garden?

My first response is always, grow what you love to eat.

But I never leave it at that.

After all, my family loves bananas, but that doesn't mean that I can grow them.

So that leaves me with a huge

addendum to my response. Grow what you love to eat, but also what is relatively easy for you to grow.

but be sure that you love them before you choose to

add them on your list. And I'll also list five so that you can save yourself some disappointment

because these five, I would say, are probably not the easiest for beginners to grow, not only

based on my experience, but also based on so

many who have shared with me their experiences in the past. We'll also talk about climate nuances

because like everything else, where your gardening matters. By the end of this episode, I want
