Hi everyone and welcome to a time of being still and being loved. My name is

Elisa Keaton and I'm so glad you're here. So right now I invite you to have a seat in a chair, a

supportive chair or perhaps laying down on your back on the floor or again on a supported surface.

And then just become aware of your breath.

Take a breath maybe for the count of five inhaling and then exhaling for the count of five. And instead of closing your eyes right now, maybe just gaze around the room a little bit,

just a subtle gaze, just taking in your space.

And all we're doing right now is creating awareness, body awareness,

awareness of your surroundings.

And all of this begins to engage your resting systems of your body.

You were created for rest and work.

You were created for work. You were created for work that comes from rest.

And maybe your eyes stay open and you just gaze

in front of you in the corner of a room or the ceiling.

Or if you'd like, you can begin to close your eyes.

And then just continue to be connected to the breath.

If you get anxious during this time of being still, just breathe and remind yourself of what good work this is for you, of how foundational rest is to your work.

And now, God, we invite you. We come here looking for more of you. Right now, God, we ask that your

Holy Spirit would descend and rest upon us like a dove.

That your peace is a gift that you gave us because you conquered the cross.

So we invite more of that God, unlock all of it in heaven and let it flood and fill us and ground us, support us.

We want more of you.

Holy Spirit quiet our minds. Clear out the lies.
