So is Brian McBride, which had been reported earlier, but Ernie Stewart going to PSV Einhoven

and everyone at U.S. soccer soccer and by everyone at US soccer I mean

Cindy Parlo cone the president and J.T. Batson the CEO you know just

saying hey this is great for him he's a great guy you're a great guy you're a

great guy everyone's a great guy let's go and it's gonna he's gonna be a great

guy across the ocean now yep yeah

McBride apparently won it out even before the World Cup but they they asked him to

stay on a little bit longer you know these were some of the gleanings from a fairly

tepid press conference this morning. The end of summer was talked about as a timeline for a new

sporting director and men's national team coach decision but it was pretty

squishy on the timeline stuff not even a hundred percent clear if Brian McBride will be

replaced and Greg Berhalter is officially still a candidate for the job that he had a couple months ago,

although that seems increasingly unlikely.

Yeah, I'm going to say totally unlikely.

I mean, Parlo Cone is and Batson have sort of cleaned house and it just seems super unlikely that they're going to do all those house cleaning just

to retain the guy that the people who they just cleaned out of the house brought on.

Yeah, but see they deny there being any clean house cleaning element to this you know that's the thing
