session seven of the podcast by hearing about Marty's sabbatical experience a little bit at least

and reflecting on what we've all been through in the season of rest. We're back, baby!

Here I am in the recording booth for the first time in three and a half months.

Brent, you can't see how you're feeling Marty. Well, you can't see this, but I'm holding a

can of air. I had to get out my, you know, those spray can of air is to spray off the dust.

I had to get out my my air can to spray off the soundboard. I haven't fired it up in like

a hundred and six days. I thought you were going to say that you turned it into an air horn.

No, no. I'm back, baby. Bum bum bum bum bum. That's right. That's right. No, stuff is

sat dormant, fired back on like normal. All the lights are blinking at me, telling me that you

can hear me. So, yeah, we're ready to go. Back at it. If you were hearing this, then everything

worked out. Then Marty didn't lose his edge. That's right. That's right. Refreshed and renewed.

Full tank. Ready to go. That's great. You've already recorded and published a couple of things.

Dave and one of my good friends from the Washington DC area and he was on sabbatical too while I was.

One of the things I did at the end of my time, the end of my hundred days is a few weeks ago,

I went to go spend some time with him and we just kind of sabbaticaled together and reflected on

our different sabbatical spaces and one of the things that he talked about which I felt like

articulated a lot of some of my own feelings was you feel like you go away on these sabbaticals
