Look, seven hour war in peace, four hour touch of Zen, all those Lars von Trier movies,

it was time for Bruno Matei.

Yeah, let's pick something that's not painful to watch, question mark.

I mean, these movies offer a different kind of challenge than some of those other movies.

It's like, wait, have I seen this before? And in the spirit of Bruno Matei, this episode will

be comprised entirely of stock footage from previous episodes. Just opinions we've shared, jokes we've shared, and not variations of, just cheaper

imitations of the exact same thing.

We're going to take whenever we did our George Romero episode and we're going to

dub in the words Bruno Matei anytime we say George Romero, you know, like that.

When did you become aware of Bruno Matei as a we say George Romero. You know, like that. When did you become aware of Bruno

Matei as a filmmaker? I definitely would have been in undergrad. I was not yet, like, obsessed with

Italian horror movies at that time, but, you know, I was getting my, my toes wet, seeing some of the

Fulci's, seeing some of the Argentos. Because any Italian exploitation fan eventually will come to the feet of Mr. Mate.
