I had with my friends, Jason and Lauren Balleton. Now, we were doing another podcast and we were

talking about marriage. And all of a sudden, I felt this desire to ask them about parenting,

about some of the things that I was dealing with as a mom

in real time. And so we took a moment in that podcast to answer this question. I think you're going

to really like it. And we figured, let's not put it in the marriage series. Let's throw it in the

parenting series. So we're going to pop into this question. And yes, it's raw. It's real.

One other question I have, and that is with Ben and I, and I'll just, I'm going to be really

brave and just share it because I feel like it might be really fun for our audience here.

One of my marital issues that we could actually talk about. I know you just turned it up because you're interested now and you stop the car.

Yeah.

But one of the things that Ben and I are dealing with right now is we have the four boys in our house.

And we've got the teen, we've got the 18, 17, 14, and 12.

And the way that they talk to me is very different than the way they used to talk to me.

And the way that Ben talks to me can be very blunt. And like him and I have a very good

relationships, but we can be very clear. But what I'm noticing is that they're all talking to

me like that. And so now it's like five men are telling me, you know, don't do that, do that. And so it's very interesting. And so one of the things that we have kind of had a conflict in is, you know, if he always

says, don't talk to my wife like that, don't talk to her, it starts to feel as if I am not

in a relationship with them, he's kind of managing them with me versus like, okay, I need

to be able to stand up and say, you know, don't do that.
