This episode is revisiting one of the most popular episodes of the show.

I think a lot of long-time listeners probably think of this episode as a quintessential episode of the show.

And I think that that is true because it explores probably the most foundational idea of Creative Pap Talk, which is the growth mindset.

It is the idea that if there are still booby traps yet to be set off, then the treasure is still there.

booby traps means there's still treasure. If you are facing challenges, obstacles, hard times, that means there are things worthwhile pushing into.

If the path is paved and it's got cottage industries with people set up alongside of it, selling you wares like the golds gone at the end of that path.

And in this episode, I wanted to go back to this episode and explore these themes again because we're living in a hard time.

You know, we just got through a big series and we talked, we got real into the craft of creativity and the esoteric kind of elements of creative psychology.

And it's all well and good.

And it obviously come into it.

However, we're living in a time and place where it's easy to feel like what's even the point of making this work?

What's the point of spending your life or spending any of your time doing creative things?

But I wanted to revisit this episode because I have a strong belief like my dad always says, hard and bad are not the same thing.

And we are living in hard times.
