Joe Lieberman passed away yesterday. Former Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman died complications from a fall.

Really sad, 82 years old, still in relatively good shape.

So very, very sad.

And a reminder to every one of our older Americans listening to me right now,

my 87-year-old mother-in-law whose balance is unsteady,

careful with falling, careful as you walk and move.

Falls can be deadly for our senior citizens.

I said something last night or I tweeted something about Lieberman last night to the effect that the highest praise I can give Joe Lieberman is that he would not at all fit in and he would not at all succeed in our divisive extremist, tear your political opponents down.

Everything is an outrage politics, right, that we have today. Our ugly, divisive extremists,

no compromise, no nothing, just fucking go after your political opponent, hate your political

opponent, never reach across the aisle, never try to find common ground.

The person who opposes you is the devil. Always be outraged about shit. Don't get anything done.
