your work for a while. I read your book a few years back and I just appreciate that you are one of

the lone voices in the wilderness sort of addressing progressive and liberal Christianity, which I'm

particularly interested in. So recently you went to the Wild Goose Fest, which I'm dying to ask you

about. But before we get there, I just want to ask you a bit about your story. What led you to

this place? Did you grow up in a Christian home? What was it that made you become passionate about

identifying as your book says a distorted gospel? Well, thank you so much, Alisa, for having me because

the feeling is mutual because you are also a woman who is working in this nitty gritty area of

identifying distorted Christian teaching. And that is not an easy field to work in. Like you said,

Christian home. Well, my parents came to know Christ when I was about eight or nine. So I knew
