Summary

Developing the positive power of gratitude is key to taking yourself to game changer status, especially considering the growing sense of entitlement in society and less thankfulness people possess in the little things. In this episode, Dave shares 6 ways you can establish an attitude of gratitude. Use them to develop the state of mind to become happier, live more fulfilled, and bring the 8 key game changer traits more consistently to your life so that you become unstoppable. It's also a highly recommended share with those who've lost sight of all they have to be grateful for, and need a healthier perspective.

I want to talk about the positive power of gratitude.

What a wonderful word. What a great topic. What a great

0:23.5

mindset. Gratitude. Are you grateful or are you entitled? Because you really can't be both

simultaneously. I talked a little bit about this a few episodes back in the entitlement episode.

But we're going to really focus on gratitude.

0:38.9

I believe the more grateful you are, the less entitled you become, which makes you more desirable.

Why? Because you're grateful. Because your attitude is governing your gratitude.

You're not letting conditions govern it. So there's some things we can do, little things,

changer from the playmaker, you know, if you've heard these before, you've read my book Unstoppable,

performers in any organization, undertaker, caretaker, playmaker, and Game Changer. And the playmaker is often close

1:28.3

to getting the game changer status. But the game changer is more consistently bringing effort,

1:33.9

energy, enthusiasm, excellence, passion, attitude, focus, and integrity, and bringing them in the

1:39.0

right measure more consistently, more often. And so, listen, if you're a grateful person,

1:44.1

you're going to be bringing more of that stuff.

2:00.6

And if you're not, you're not going to get to that game change your status. Or if you're there, you're going to slip out of it. Because remember, the four groups are not permanent verdicts. Just because you're not in one doesn't mean you can't climb up the ladder. And just because you're at the top, doesn't mean you can't descend to the bottom.

If you have a change in mindset, a let-up in performance, you can end up right back down an undertaker status. So this is really important, talking about gratitude, especially
