Tragedies end in death.

Comedies end in marriage.

So what is the Bible, take it as a whole?

It's clearly a comedy.

Yes, there is tragedy in it, deaths a plenty, above all, the death of Jesus in the New Testament,

and foreshadowed again and again and again in the old.

But our Jesus does not remain dead.

He rises to be the bridegroom of his church. The Bible closes out

with the scene of the great marriage supper of the lamb in his kingdom. The word of the Lord

endures forever is a daily verse-by-verse Bible study with the church, past and present. Pastor

Whedon is leading us in a study of the book of Ruth.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit,
