Summary

Victor Avila was living his dream of being in federal law enforcement as a Special Agent for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). His work from drug trafficking to human smuggling led him to the most dangerous countries in the Americas. While assigned to the Mexico City ICE office, Victor and his new partner, Jaime Zapata, were tasked with transporting equipment from Monterrey back to the U.S. Embassy. Their route took them on the most dangerous highway in Mexico, where they were ambushed by the Los Zetas cartel. Agent Jaime Zapata was killed and Victor was badly wounded. New information has been discovered by Victor that shows a coverup by ICE and DHS that goes all the way to the top.
