Hi everyone and welcome to this week's Squiggly Career Podcast. I'm Helen Tupper, one of the co-founders

of Amazing If and I'm here as ever with Sarah, the other lovely co-founder. Hi everybody. We're very

excited as well. Sarah's been on holiday for a week so I feel like I've been apart from her and this

podcast is our moment to reconnect. I'd love to say I'm sitting here really tanned and bronzed,

but I look at all resemblance, something of a lobster right now.

But refreshed?

A refreshed lobster.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

I was actually celebrating.

We were away for a week to celebrate my dad turning 60. And in the context of

squiggly careers, he's really interesting because he has just embarked on his own squiggly

career. So I'm really proud of him. Where he's now going to move his contract to being a number

of days per year worked contract rather than a full-time contract.

Very interesting.

I know. I know. I get like so excited when I talk to him.

Also, I said he's just ruined our example because often I use him as our example of,

oh, you know, in previous generations, people worked in the same companies and had the same

types of jobs for a long time, which is exactly what he's done very, very successfully. But I feel like now he's like living the dream, living the amazing

if dream. But now you can add on, but even my dad, even my dad is squiggly. Yeah, even my dad who has

never listened to my podcast as opposed to my mum, who listens to every single podcast,

like word for word and gives me feedback.
