We have no idea how long we've been live on the internet today because I pressed some wrong buttons.

Producer Ben pressed some really wrong buttons and we have no idea if this entire show has

been streamed the entire time. But I mean, what a big deal? It's no big deal. It's not like we're

saying anything incriminating on a hot mic at all, right, Cody? No, we never say anything

of interest off mic here. But yeah, we promptly fired the production team

and now it's just you and I. We still have the stats team on by, though, so we still have at least

one of our teams ready to rock and roll. That stats team is reliable, unlike the production team,

who I have immediately canned and we're going to look for a much better replacement, the production

Okay, so today we're going to continue our conversation about top offensive players in the NBA.

We've opened an entire Pandora's box from last week.

I personally felt that reflecting on our conversation last week and thinking about what it meant to we started with

talking about the best pick and roll players and that got me down this rabbit hole of well why why are we

running pick and roll what if you're just the best like lone star offensive player on the court i've

talked about that for years we used to do remember cody back in the good old days of this show we used to do

like the the wowie stats power rankings would be like hey did you know that when Nicola Yokich goes to the bench, Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr. scores more points than when Nicola Yokic is on the court. That's actually interesting because Michael Porter Jr.'s stats in Brooklyn are pretty similar to his stats without Yokic and Murray on the court when he was

healthy a couple years ago in Denver. So that's why we used to do that stuff. And we started

talking last week about what if you are the only really competent offensive player whose

stuff has to run through. And this week, we're going to add another layer to that thought

experiment.
