I birthed my daughter's head and my body took a break.

I was not contracting.

There was no shoulder distortion.

There was no cord around the neck.

There was no complication.

And she just whipped my baby out.

And my husband remembers he saw it all.

He saw I ended up with a fourth degree tear he

saw my baby just go like as she did it I had um three subsequent surgeries after the initial repair

um to try to fix things that... Three additional surgeries.

This is a person who purposefully harmed you.

I live in a broken world with a broken hospital system and broken people.

All right. My name is Abby and I'm a mom of almost three. My third is coming this summer. And

being a mom is the best thing I've ever done. It's incredible for a time. I didn't think I wanted

kids and I can't believe I ever felt that way. That's so crazy. So I'm glad that it didn't turn out that way.

But I loved a watercolor and read.

And those are all things that have spilled over into motherhood that I get to do with my kiddos too.
