I say of the holy people who are in the land, they are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.

Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. I will not pour out libations of blood to such

gods or take up their names on my lips. This is another Psalm of David, and it's a little bit like some of the other Psalms we've dealt with in the past in the sense that David is asking for help.

2:07.4

David is asking for refuge.

2:09.8

Keep me safe, my God.

2:10.9

For in you, I take refuge.

But the thing I like about Psalm 16, the thing that gives me, I'd have to say delight, is I see in it a very joyful David
