How's going?

Good morning.

Good morning. Good morning. Hi. Morning. I think Jimmy's on his phone. Yeah, he is. He's looking down. He's busy. He's doing business stuff. We can wait. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. The millions of people who listen to this podcast can just wait on you to be on your phone. It's fine. That's right. It's just scrolling. Nothing is. Vertic watch. Everything's good. Nothing yet. What's new? What's new? I'm working on two really big projects. I was telling you guys about them. I'm working on this barbecue. Two bar. I don't want to give too many details away. I'm filming it. I'm sure the client's going to let me make a video of it, but I'm just being cautious in case he says no, which I'll just have to work on him. But I'm working on these two

barbecue things, which are really cool. It's like a pair of barbecue smokers. It's a higher job.

0:53.0

And I'm also working on my rowboat, which is really coming together quickly.

0:59.8

Now I'm up and around the bend where I'm starting to feel some tension, some real tension. You put on those first couple of strips and it's like, oh boy, this is going to be fun.

1:08.5

And then you get up around the top and you're like, I don't have enough clamps to keep the tension of this wood in place. And so it gets a little

1:16.3

hectic. And I have about 20 planks on and I have probably about 30 planks to completely go to cover

1:23.1

the whole thing. So I'm approaching the halfway point, but even though it's the halfway point,

1:28.7

it's the most complicated parts of the halfway point because it's where each one of the

1:33.0

strips start taking crazy twists and turns. And you really have to fight, fight, fight. But I'm

1:38.5

making the whole thing out of all these old deck boards that are, it's funny, a few people

1:43.4

were under the misconception that these deck boards that are, it's funny, a few people were under the misconception that these deck

1:46.0

boards that are four by three quarter inches, or maybe you might say one by fours, people

1:51.8

assume that I was going to just use those full boards, but I'm not making a ship. I'm making a little

1:57.2

rowboat, so I'm making it in the style of... You could make a ship out of them.

2:02.6

I don't think I have enough for a ship.

2:04.1

But by taking them and cutting them into quarters,

2:07.0

so each strip will be about one inch by about a quarter inch.

2:12.4

Then gluing them together over the mold,

2:14.1

that's how I made the strip canoe.

2:17.3

It's the same technique, made design from
