My guest today is Valerie Hammaker, the host of the fabulous Latter Day Struggles podcast, which is just kind of

blown up in the last couple of years. So welcome, Valerie. Thank you for coming on to the show.

Hi. Thank you for having me. It's nice to be here. Yeah. Well, you, this is your story. So I'll try

to get out of the way as much as possible. We just tell people kind of what you do and how you got here and kind of the backstory

behind your show.

And we're speaking to primarily Latter-day St. Mormon audience.

So this is rich, good stuff for them slash us.

So again, I'm going to get out of your way.

Well, thank you for giving me the floor and letting me sort of tell my story.

I am from Centerville, Utah.

So I think you said you're in Utah Valley, so I am very familiar with that area.

Yep.

Yeah.

So I, born and raised, born in Salt Lake or Holiday, exactly, raised in Salt Lake City,

served a mission in the San Francisco.

Actually, it was the Oakland, Michigan at the time in Oakland, San Francisco, California,

Spanish speaking, which is where I met my husband,

Nathan, who if anybody's familiar with the Latter Day Struggles podcast, he is my co-host.

And so he and I do this together, which is nice because it gives us something to talk about all of the time.

And he and I have been doing this for about three years.
