0:00.0	Cardinal McCarick. There's been a lot of news this past week that he's been
0:05.4	moved out of the friary where he was placed after they took him out of DC and
0:09.8	Virginia. Some say that he's now in Florida that may or may not be the case and to figure all this out today I have the eminent George Newmire.
0:21.0	George, welcome back. Thanks for having me, Taylor.
0:24.3	Well you chased McCarick all around DC and Virginia before they took him out to
0:29.8	St. Fidelis and now he's he's back on the run and everybody's trying to find him.
0:35.6	So we're going to talk about your history with the manhunt for McCarick and also this news
0:41.8	coming out that is it right George that the
0:44.6	Vatican is preparing a report on McCarick an investigation? That's right and
0:51.4	they've been dragging their feet on that. You know it's been over a year since they announced that they were going to produce that report and you know
1:01.3	O'Malley, Cardinal O'Malley in November said that it was just a matter of the report being translated into Italian for the Pope.
1:10.0	Well, that was two months ago. So it's reasonable for people to ask what's going on here and why is the Vatican taking so long with this report?
1:20.0	It would appear that the reason is that they're trying to finesse the report in such a way that it doesn't implicate Pope Francis who had been told by Archbishop Bigno about McCarix's past as a predator.
1:37.0	And so it looks like they're trying to word the report in such a way that Francis is let off the hook.
1:45.0	Yeah, yeah.
1:47.0	All right, well, before we get into this, and also I think it relates maybe to the
1:50.0	Papal Foundation, we can debate that and discuss that too. Before we jump into it though, let us pray,
