I am what you would call an avid hiker. Nature is my second home, and with a little to do in

the small town I am from, the best way to have fun is to escape to the nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains.

I often visit Sequoia National Park in Yosemite, as they are not too far from where I live,

but this story takes place in the three rivers area. This was back in May of 2020. I and my

husband were eager to get out of the house and get some fresh air, as the virus had us going

stir crazy. My mom recommended a loop trail that had many pretty features, twin lakes,
