Organic REV
The first thing to understand about REV is that it is not an ordinary humic acid product that is chemically-extracted from leonardite, lignite, or other coals.
Rather, it is a 100% naturally-occurring carbon, humic acid & fulvic acid source - along with exceptionally high levels of naturally-occurring microbial biomass
that can increase nitrogen efficiency by up to 25%.  REV replaces depleted soil carbon & bacterial biomass - and absorbs nutrients to make them more readily
available to plants via their root systems.

Hey there and welcome back to the podcast. When we're growing in raised beds, it's one decision to choose what will fill our bed with the first time.

0:08.9

But after the first season, we have to make another decision, how to refresh the soil so that it will support yet another season of high intensity growing.

0:19.9

I get a lot of questions about this topic,

0:22.3

but here are the main three.

0:24.2

Do I have to add entirely new soil

0:26.6

to my raised beds each year?

0:28.6

Short answer, no, but we'll talk about that.

0:32.0

What should I do if my bed didn't produce last year?

0:35.1

This is probably the most common question I hear. And how do I keep a

0:39.3

well-performing bed going well? What we'll talk about today will build on what we talked about

0:45.7

last week on filling new raised beds. Even if you aren't planning on adding any new raised beds this

0:53.4

year, I recommend that you listen

0:55.2

to that episode first.

0:57.2

The core principles I talked about in the last episode will inform the decisions that we

1:02.2

make with the raised beds that we're using in subsequent seasons.

1:06.6

And with that, if you're a brand new gardener and all you're going to do is fill new

1:10.3

raised beds or use your current soil and going to do is fill new raised beds

1:10.9

or use your current soil and you don't have any current raised beds to refresh, still, this

1:15.9

will be a great episode for you to listen to because if you are doing any raised beds next year,

1:21.5

you're going to want to keep in mind what you can do to refresh that soil. And also,

1:26.3

if you run into any issues with your new raised

1:28.7

beds this year, this episode will be a good one to keep in your back pocket so that you can
