Hello Heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Damato, your host and Game Master.

This week we're playing Lucian Con's Visigoths versus Mall Goths.

This game's a little difficult to categorize. It's a little bit slice of life and a little bit romance, but it's the sort of strange, unique idea that you could only really find in RPGs.

It's set in a world where Visigoths, the folks who conquered Rome, time travel to the

1990s in California, and establish a life for themselves there, where they're forced to fight for dominance

against teens in the goth subculture who hang out at the mall.

On top of that, there's a heaping helping of uncanny cartoon weirdness that goes into the game.

There's magic, charm, and tons of emotions.

The mechanics really stay out of the way on this one.

They provide you with everything you need to resolve uncertainty,

but really rely on the players to move the story forward.

Visigoths versus Mall Goths was successfully kick-started a while ago,

but it is now available for public purchase.
