And somewhere in the middle of it all sits Laurel, a town of roughly 1,000 people.

It has one police officer and five churches.

There's a single bar called knuckleheads that doubles as the local cafe.

In 2002, Laura's last multiple murder had occurred over a century before.

Two men, Dr. Cecey Sackett and Harold Crownoverover were shot dead by suspected burglars they had been pursuing.

Roger Tyron, a local historian, still heard people reference it. He recollected, that was the

crime of the 20th century for Laurel. But one morning in August the town would find something

new to talk about. It had been quiet on Elm Street, but then came an explosion that was loud enough to rattle

windows. Some neighbours awoke and made their way to their bedroom windows to see what they

were hearing. And then, through the smoke and confusion, two figures emerged.
