who since 1944 have been here to provide support for soldiers, former soldiers, their families in times of hardship or need.

story comes from April 9th 2024 and story number one comes from Cherston.

Your podcast was my Banshee.

While my family is Irish on my mother's side,

I had never expected to have any sort of Banshee warn me of an impending death.

Especially not a podcast, but here we are. I initially began

listening to real life ghost stories in October but really only listened through

Halloween. Then around Christmas I picked up listening to your podcast again. You became my company on my commute to and from work which is about an hour each way. I know we Americans are wild. In my settings I had it so the episodes would play in

chronological order starting with 31 days of terror, figuring I could catch up

before listening to older episodes.

But then one day in late January the podcast began to act strangely.

One day as soon as the mini episode finished,

a strange intro music began to play that I didn't recognize.

I checked the screen and sure enough I was still listening to real life ghost stories,

but somehow it had landed on episode number three, the Ban She.

How strange, I thought. But since I was driving I couldn't check the settings to see just how that had happened.

When I got to work I checked just out of curiosity really, but my settings hadn't changed.
