Summary

You've already built wealth through steady gains—but what if this year demands something bigger than optimization? Dominick Quartuccio returns to challenge the incremental mindset: when comfort becomes a ceiling rather than a foundation, bold moves become necessary. He outlines a practical framework for identifying which domain of life is ready for a leap, mining past successes for clues, and turning vague ambitions into concrete action—without abandoning the compounding habits that got you here. Key Takeaways The Concept of Bold Moves: A bold move is a deliberate, courageous action that supports personal growth. These moves often come with discomfort and require stepping outside comfort zones. [00:04:14] Reflection on Past Accomplishments: Take time to identify past stand-out moments to recognize what truly ignites passion and energy for future actions. Reflecting on positive experiences can help inform what your next bold step should be. [00:15:25] Accountability Through Community: Engaging with others strengthens commitments to personal goals. Community support and collaboration are essential rather than navigating life's challenges alone. [00:44:14] Reframing New Year's Resolutions: Rather than treating resolutions as burdens, reframe them as bold moves. Finding joy in potential adventures changes your mindset and energizes your goals. I think today how you do, buddy, hey, Jonathan, I am doing quite well. Yeah. So he's a real treat to have down back on the show. So this should be a lot of fun. Obviously. And yeah, it's funny. As you were describing that, right.

1:34.2

We always talk aggregation of marginal gains 1% those little things and my brain is so attuned to that that I almost don't think in terms of bold steps. Bold moves. Like I haven't thought of the last time I've made a bold move because I am always looking for these little things that compound over years and decades.

1:52.9

Right. So it's going to be really interesting to dive into this this concept of maybe what does it feel like? What does it look like to be bold? So dumb with that. Welcome back to choose a guy.

2:03.5

Brad, thank you, sir. Good to see you again. I get to see you regularly. Jonathan. I haven't seen you in about a year, man. So it's great to always connect with you guys again. And thanks for having me on the show.

2:12.6

Absolutely. Absolutely. So I use the word out performance. But I think you've been really talking about this idea of a bold move. So why don't you just set us up for just a framework for what we're exploring today?

2:22.7

Okay. So one of the things I love doing at years end is to take a look at the next year ahead and get really intentional around designing your future.

2:31.5

I wrote a book called Design Your Future. I know you guys have given away to your audience members a number of times. And this year the theme is,

2:38.7

2:46.2

You don't get to choose when your next level comes calling. There's an area of your life.

2:51.5

Maybe it's in finances. Maybe it's in relationships. Maybe it's in intimacy. Maybe it's in personal well-being, physical mental health.

2:58.5

There's a next level area of your life that is calling for you to step up.

3:03.5

And it's usually somewhat of a scary call. Make sure to throw up in your mouth a little bit when you think about it, right?

3:09.0

And it's almost always inconvenient. It's almost always before you're ready. But you don't get to choose it when the next level comes calling. It sounds the alarm.
