Welcome to Kill Me Now with Judy Gold. I am your host, Judy Gold.

And with a very special episode this week, I was in Los Angeles in May to be a part of the Netflix

is a joke festival and it was a cavalcade, cavalcade of comedians. That's where I shot my standout special

with all the other great LGBTQ plus comedians. And I had the opportunity to sit at the pool

at the W Hotel and in a real couple of comics who I just adore, Chris Mancini and James Mattern.

And I hadn't seen Chris in a while because he's one of these comics that we just we went on the road together.

And that's a bond you'll always have even if you don't see the person for 10 years.

And James Mattern is one of my favourite comedians in New York City.

He's one of the best hosts MCs there is which is as I've mentioned multiple times the hardest job

and the most important job on a show. So I got to speak with Chris and then James came by

and we had a delightful conversation so I hope you enjoy by the way if you're near Cape Cod.

I begin my shows this weekend, the 24th and 25th at the Art House and then again the following weekend.

And I'd love to see you there but just sit back, relax.

I don't know why I say that, sit back, relax. Like anyone is sitting back and relaxing while they listen to my voice.

You know what I mean? The most non-relaxing voice in the entire world.
