I'm curious on your thoughts on which league requires more skill.

A 10 team, 1 quarterback, 2 running back, 2 wide receiver, tight end, 2 flex league, or a 14 team, 1 quarterback, 2 running back, 3 wide receiver, a tight end, a flex and a super flex.

I'd argue the first one since your weekly lineup decisions require more thought.

The 14 team, you essentially start anyone with a pulse.

So I couldn't disagree with that argument more.

When you're making a start sit decision, you're looking at a single game for two players or maybe three players.

If you were to assign probability to those players, like let's say that you're looking between Tom Brady and Derek Carr.

If you were assigning the probability that one would outproduce the other in a given week, if you had a sound process and you were a pretty good at fantasy football, you may go with Tom Brady and maybe assign him like a 55% probability of outproducing Derek Carr.

Like the entire reason that there's even a decision is because the range of outcomes for these players is close.

So with these start sit decisions, you're focused on a small sample, which is one game, and you're making a decision based on a very small difference in probability.

Even if that probability isn't super mathematical, it's like a mental probability in how your mind is looking at things.
