I market my business as a kind of cabin renovation service,

tune when told their new purchase would be ready for sale or a vacation in just under two weeks.

I work on around 50 to 20 cabins a year, fixing them up, dusting them

off, and then spending a night or two there to make sure everything's working as it should be.

It was something I kind of fell into after the crash in 08. And then when my old boss retired in

2013 and without any kids to pass it on to, the business went to me and I never looked back.

I consider myself very lucky. I've worked on some incredible homes for some incredible people,

but I also worked about a dozen or so jobs that didn't have the outcomes I was hoping for,
