Would have been the joys and sorrows of the years in these city campuses?

Yeah, I think a lot of sorrow just in campus ministry is the transience of who you're ministering to,

and that's multiplied in the city.

So, you know, the transience of the city means you say goodbye to your best people,

your best friends on a regular basis sometimes.

And I think there were hard seasons of, you know, what works at a big state school, ministry-wise,

doesn't always work at, you know, private school in an urban center.

So there was a lot of challenge and a lot of innovation that was needed.

Lots of joy, though, I think seeing students come to faith in dark campuses, seeing students grow to love the city, grow to love the world.

We started some urban mission projects,

and part of it was to give some of the understanding

about God's heart for the city to other crew staff

and students from the region.

So we've seen a number of folks come through and grow to love, not just Philadelphia, but love the city in general and have a vision for reaching cities here and abroad.
