Hello friends, I'm Jillian, and welcome back to The Hamilkast.

This is my second episode with London's A Dot Burr. Simon Anthony Rodin.

Last week, Simon told me about his start in the business,

including how he left traditional schooling for drama training,

and how one circumstance led to a future opportunity.

But Simon also told me about wondering if a life in the entertainment industry

was really what he wanted to do, because there was a time when he said,

that's it, I'm done.

And that's where we're picking up here.

Simon is about to explain how and why that changed.

So, you decided I can't do this to myself anymore, and then...

So then, yeah, I did.

So what happened was I basically, I also sort of got into a relationship,

which was, this was a few years later, but I got into a relationship,

and I realized in that relationship, this particular relationship,

like life is more than just your career or acting,

and I was really enjoying life at that time,

and I was like, this is so rewarding and satisfying.
