In today's episode, I want to talk about gratitude as a healing salve. I want to let you guys know how

important gratitude is, not just to do it as something that we think is going to help our anxiety or make us a little

bit more calm or to distract us, but to actually know that gratitude is a healing salve. We really can

begin to minimize our anxiety when we are using the attitude of gratitude.

We begin to be able to make a shift in our thinking.

You know, when we are anxious and actually most people in this life in this day and age

the negative is the easy place to go and that is a reason that we are still here on the planet as human beings because we've been able to look for the possibilities of danger.

We've been able to look for what is wrong with this picture versus what is right with it

so that we can be safe. And so it has served us very well to be prone to look for the negative. But when we are perfectly safe and we are fine, we need to be able to go to the gratitude, to go to the to the place where we are seeing all of the things

that are right with us, that are right with our relationships

in our environment, in our world because it acts as a healing sav.

One of the ways to do this is to be able to use our focus.

And if we focus on things that we would want to have or where we want to go,

then that is the direction that we will be taken.

We will be able to go there more easily.

And you know, this is very true in driving, like you don't want to be looking and focusing on the telephone

pole because especially when you're like I'm thinking of this when we were

driving on ice and you want to be able to see where you want to go. You have to be able to

keep your focus away from the negative influence.
