Summary

On today's episode I am sitting down solo to walk you through exactly how to lose weight after Christmas without falling into the guilt-driven holiday spiral that keeps so many women stuck. If the scale is up, your jeans feel tighter, or your brain is already jumping to "I ruined everything" mode, this conversation is your reset.

I'm breaking down what's actually happening in your body after a few days of indulgence, why overeating during the holidays does not equal real fat gain, and the sneaky all-or-nothing traps that make January feel so much harder than it needs to be.

I also share a realistic fat loss roadmap you can actually follow in real life, including what to focus on first, what to stop doing immediately, and how to get your body back into fat burning mode without restriction, detoxes, or punishing workouts. By the end of this episode, you'll feel more in control and clear on your next steps on how to stop spiraling and finally reset in a way that works with your body and your life.

Hello, my beautiful people and welcome back to another episode of Hot Healthy Never Hungry.

0:13.0

I know you're clicking this episode. And if you're listening to this real time, it is before

0:19.6

Christmas when this is released,

0:21.0

but I definitely know there's going to be a lot of people going back to this episode,

0:26.2

maybe even listening to it for the first time and finding it for the first time after

0:30.7

Christmas comes, which I love. But I wanted to do an episode released Christmas week for you guys on how to lose weight after the Christmas holiday and how to stop this holiday overeating.

0:48.7

I'm so off track spiral that people can get into.

0:53.2

And this is for a couple different reasons. Number one, I don't want to

0:57.3

reinforce diet starts Monday. That mentality keeps a lot of women stuck because they don't realize

1:03.1

how to be fit and healthy and make that a part of how you live, how you operate. It just becomes a

1:08.9

standard of excellence, as I like to say. And that's not the

1:11.9

point of this episode. But I know for myself, Christmas Day, there are habits that I stick to.

1:18.8

I love working out. I love having healthy balance meals. I like sticking to my normal routine.

1:24.2

But when I'm at a Christmas dinner or I'm at an event for the holidays, that for me is not the time where I'm like, I have to be so strict, so disciplined, say no to absolutely everything fun, no holiday cookies with my daughter, no alcohol, like, like so perfect. That's not the day. Like, I'm going to be so for real, guys. It might be the day for like 1% of people listening to this, but for 99% of women I work with, it's not the time. It's not the place. And it doesn't mean we're not addicted to the outcome that we want and we're not focused on achieving it and we're not committed to actually seeing the

2:01.2

change we want. It just is timing. I don't want you to think that being on track means on

2:08.1

Christmas Day being so disciplined with yourself. I think it's so important to be disciplined

2:14.8

when you want to be disciplined and what it makes sense. For me,

2:21.3

jumping back into fat loss mode makes sense after I'm done with the holidays and the celebrations

2:27.0

and seeing family and, you know, all this time of year. So if you're in the same place,

2:32.8

this is what we're talking about today.

2:35.0

I'm going to tell you what to start with. I'm going to tell you what I want you to stop.

2:40.3

And then most importantly, I want to go through a realistic fat loss roadmap to losing fat
