I was going to do a funny joke about the general conference because you know how at the beginning they always say like, welcome to the 157th general conference.

Uh-huh. Yeah, which one was this awesome? But I don't know the number. Yeah, I don't remember. I don't know. It's up there. And we survived. We survived the

general conference weekend, you guys. Katie and I had very, very different experiences this past

the weekend. Yeah. Like polar opposite, which I think is quite funny that it worked out that way that

you know we had different experiences with family or whatever like visiting you know

not to like 30 years and have you talk about your experience but i just think it's quite funny

because especially with general conference happening, like, you had to witness it firsthand and I was out drinking

with my boyfriend's parents. So, not the same. Yeah, we had like polar opposites. And, um, yeah,

I luckily though, I only really listened to like one talk, which I might reference a little bit later, but besides that, I was kind of able to just check out.

General conference, it's just, it kind of blows my mind that I used to think it was like an amazing thing. Okay, so let me let me backtrack.

I think I've talked about this in like previous episodes, but growing up my mom never made

us watch it and we just thought it was a free Sunday you got to sleep in. So I never understood

what general conference was. I was like, I don't get it.

Whatever is cool.

I just know two Sundays out of the year, we don't have to go to church.

And then when I went to BOU, obviously I was like, oh, like, this is a legit, serious

thing.

Like, we have to watch it all weekend.

That's insane.
