Hello and welcome to the two Robbie's podcast with me Robbie Mustow and him

Robbie Earl as ever and well we recorded our last podcast on Monday.

We didn't think we'd be speaking to you guys again until Saturday,

but the biggest story this season in English football

has meant that we are back on and we had to do this emergency podcast.

Josie and Reney on Tuesday was fired, sacked as the manager of Manchester United and I think

on Monday Robille we did kind of say well I guess first of all I thought he would limp through this

season you know I knew the results were inconsistent I expect him to continue to be

inconsistent but I thought he'd win a few games and then because

they're in the Champions League in February I thought he'd limp on through the season you

thought and you've said for a long time actually back in August to be fair to you

mate that that he wouldn't

survive Christmas and it was close in the nick of time but he hasn't and I did I

remember saying right at the end of our last part, he could go.

You know, just thinking, you know, of what we've seen just recently, just recently

with that defeat to Liverpool 3-1.

And then of course during Parasite German in the round of 16 the Champions League

It happened on Tuesday. What was your first kind of thoughts was any surprise when you heard the news?

Not really rough because things had almost got to the stage where I couldn't see where the future was with Jose Marino. Like you I didn't think they'd make a decision and maybe putting into a manager in.

I didn't think they'd be ready to find the guy who they want to take over.

So I just thought he's going to maybe stay in the job because of those circumstances.

As you said he'll limp his way through.
