mindset, and certainly what keeps them positive. My guest today is a British stand-up comedian,

nominated for the Best Newcomer Award in 2017 at the Edinburgh Festival, and nominated for

best show this year. He's a star of many national TV and radio comedy shows.

I'm talking today with Darren Harriet.

You've got to step outside of your comfort zone

and make yourself uncomfortable.

I feel like the more risks you take

and the more you make yourself uncomfortable

in certain situations, the more happier you will be.

The best thing that happened with my gang

was that they beat me off when I was 16

and then I wasn't with my gang was that they beat me off when I was 16 and then I

wasn't with that gang anymore. From then I realized it was all just rubbish. I'm in the mix. I think

about where I was five years ago and I'm like, okay, but I'm in the mix. It's fine. It didn't happen,

but it's not the end of the world. We just keep going. As long as you stay on the bus, you're fine. Make it as a full-time comedian.

It's amazing.
