Hi guys, Raylene here. Before we jump into this week's episode, I just wanted to give a bit of a

disclaimer to let everyone know that we did record this episode a week ago. As we've talked about,

we record all of our episodes a week in advance just because that's how our schedule works out.

And so that's the reason why you won't be hearing us talk about what's going on in the world right now in this particular episode.

Although that's no excuse because we recorded it the day after George Floyd was murdered.

So I feel terrible about the way that we didn't discuss it at all, even though we could have.

And that's part of the problem with everything that's going on is that people

aren't talking about things enough. So I'm encouraging our listeners, mostly our white listeners

who may not have done anything yet. Please just talk about it. Share black voices who are

currently talking about what's going on and talking about ways that you can help. Look up ways that

you can help. There is a website that you can look at, which we will link in the show notes.

You can also find it in our bio on Instagram. So check it out there. There's lots of ways that

you can help out. You can donate money if, you know, even just $5 to any of these organizations

is very helpful, sign

petitions and just spread the words. Right now we should be listening to Black Voices. We shouldn't

be talking. Me and Ariel don't need to be talking right now, but hopefully it'll be a good

distraction for those that feel they need it. Not that, you know, distracting yourself

is the right thing to do in this case, but it's there if you guys want to listen to it. We're

going to keep recording the podcast, try and stay positive, try and be a little light through

this darkness. But yeah, please listen to Black Voices right now. That's the most important thing.
