of cast iron from JDPEWO5. Came here because of Monica, but I'm staying because you also

great in support of the cast iron argument. I'm the proud owner of my great grandmother's

cast iron pan. The pan she used every day on her farm while she raised 13 children, including

my grandma. It's so special to me. In fact, that I'm afraid to use it in fear that I will ruin

the perfectly seasoned pan she created and maintained. Nonetheless, I love it. Your kids may not

appreciate it, but your great-grandchildren might. Wow. And to you, JDPEWO5, two things. One, don't

be afraid to use it because you can't, it will keep lasting a lifetime. The worst thing that happens

is you mess up the seasoning a little bit or it rusts and guess what? You can take care of that

and it'll be brand spank and new. And two, I'm not worried about my kids appreciating it. I'm worried

about my wife appreciating it and helping my kids understand how special it is. But I'm taking

that into my own responsibility and teaching my kids now how special that pan is. Oh, what are you

doing to make that happen? Just kind of showing them how awesome it is, how I clean it, how it's

done that, yeah, with them. Not yet. How great it is, how it's going to last forever and ever,

and how do you see this pan? We got to get rid of this pan because we got it like two years ago,

but the non-stick's not working on it. And that's why the eggs don't taste as good. But this cast

iron here is incredible. I'm going to take care of it. Okay. Good. Let's see. Solution found for
