Maower. Today marks 12 years, six months, and 27 days since August 2nd 2006.

Why is that important? Because that was the date that Elon Musk on

Tesla Motors.com published the secret Tesla Motors master plan. To quote the

summary from that post which was published over six and a half million minutes ago,

quote, so in short the master plan is build sports car, use that money to build an affordable

car, use that money to build an affordable car. Use that money to build an even more affordable car,

while doing above also provide zero-emission electric power generation options.

Don't tell anyone. End quote. Tesla today with the launch of the $35,000 base price

model three accomplished the secret master plan.

Congratulations to Elon Musk. Congratulations to every single Tesla employee past and present

that has worked so hard to get Tesla to this point.

Congratulations to every customer that has helped fun Tesla to get here and congratulations to every investor that has done the same.

So let's get into it then. Just to quickly recap what the model 3 pricing structure is now,

the base price 220 mile range standard interior model 3 has been released.

That starts at $35,000.

One of the most exciting things about this is that while it is still the standard interior on this $35,000

model the all-glass roof and the auto-dimming power folding heated side mirrors are

both included in the standard interior. From there Tesla also released a standard range

plus which will get you 240 miles of range. It also adds 10 miles per hour to the

top speed taking it from 130 to 140 and reduces your 0 to 60 from 5.6 seconds to 5.3 seconds.
