I mean, he's a hero to many people.

He's certainly a larger-than-life figure who grew up in our hometown, who went on to, well,

to change professional sports.

I mean, that's not too grand, is it?

It's pretty good.

I mean, he's done something that no one else will probably ever do.

What he accomplished was impossible, which is basically just not taking a day off.

I mean, he gets

the perfect attendance award, if ever there was one for baseball. And he, you know, kicked Lou Gehrig

in the nuts while he did it. So that was kind of fun. Lou Gehrig comes up in this conversation.

So does a lesser-known athlete called Wally Pip. It will all be explained when you meet this incredibly

charming woman who has written a delightful book called Making It Home. The woman is Teresa

Strasser. She's one of those people who has done a lot of things in the entertainment world.
