Summary
Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Pirate Queen,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 10:11
Pirate Queen Excerpt:
Allie felt a gentle nudge as she napped on the blanket in the warm sun. Her mom lifted the pirate hat off of Allie’s face and said, “I hope you enjoyed your nap. Your friends will be coming soon.” Allie stretched and sat up. “I did. Thanks mom.”
She said, giving her mom a hug. Allie set her pirate hat on her head. She quickly hurried over to the swings, so her friends wouldn’t suspect anything. Allie giggled as Owen approached, feeling excited for her game to begin. Owen had a magenta scarf tied on his head, looking very piratey. When he found Allie he smiled and said, “Arrrr, I got your message, your majesty, and wore me best.”
Allie laughed, “You look great, me hearty!” From a distance, they heard a shout, “There be the Pirate Queen!” Helen had arrived.
