Our guest today is Lori Ann Cole.

Together with her husband Corey Cole, she created the classic

Quest for Glory series of computer games,

which were published by Sierra between 1989 and 1998.

The Coles have also created a crowd-funded spiritual successor to Quest for Glory called Hero

U, which was released last year after a challenging six-year development process.

I also just want to note that the first Quest for Glory game was originally published as

Heroes Quest, so just be aware that Heroes Quest and Quest for Glory are the same game.

Okay, so to start with, just tell us about how you first got into science fiction.

Oh, all my life.

I mean, I can remember the first books I was reading were fantasy and science fiction.

It just was drawn to it because that's what appealed to my you know

imagination. Like what were those first books that you were reading? Well I read Heinlein and I read Andre Norton, who wrote fantasy books and science fiction,
