This week on myths and legends, it's something we've never done before.

It's two myths and a lie.

Through it, we'll learn how to spot a pirate and get a great deal on a New Year's goose. To watch out because that firewood you're using might actually

be a secret child, and that if you don't have a care in the world, you really might want to keep that

to yourself. The creature this week is a dear woman,

who will scream at you until you go away or make you fall in love with her. This is Myths and Legends episode 348, Untitled Goose episode. This is a podcast where we tell stories from mythology and folklore.

Some are incredibly popular stories you might think you know, but with surprising origins.

Others are tales that might be new to you, but are definitely worth a listen.

Today's episode is something we've never done before, with three stories we've never told, two stories are old tales from two different

places in the world, one is completely new by us. The challenge is this. Take a listen to all three, then vote on our Instagram poll without cheating, which one

What could be stated that he himself had not already shared or slurred to the entire pub just before closing.

He is my best friend. Any number of patrons had sworn throughout the night, as they often did,

what with old Van Wimpel keeping the ale flowing.

Nicholas liked to drink with friends, to buy drinks for his friends.

And so naturally, the entire establishment had long decided that they were, collectively and indeed, is

friends.

For my best customer, the owner had said that evening, sliding a final drink across the bar.

Ten minutes later, closing time arrived.
