What's up, friends? It's me, Mike Roe, with another episode of The Way. I heard it. This is

0:08.1

number 347. It's called Better a Millstone around your neck. Not in the habit of quoting

0:16.0

scripture on this podcast, much less referencing Matthew 18 in the title. But I have for reasons that will soon

0:23.2

be apparent. Chuck, thank you for recommending this guest. You know, I'm sorry we couldn't do it when

0:29.0

the movie came out. The movie is The Sound of Freedom. Pretty big deal ever since July 4th and

0:35.9

1:23.7

for the movie. It didn't work. That upset me.

1:32.4

And then I realized, you know, in the scheme of things, what was children being abducted and misused?

1:33.5

Maybe my little frustrations in the tech world were not all that germane.

1:37.6

But the good news is the movie was so well received, it beat the snot out of Indiana Jones and Mission Impossible

1:46.8

and really every other major Hollywood release. It came out of nowhere. And it has moved

1:55.0

the needle in ways that few movies do. And it's got people's attention around a topic that, look, it's difficult to talk about.

2:04.6

I mean, there's no bad language in this conversation, but I don't know if you want to listen to it

2:09.0

with your kids, because we're going to talk pretty candidly about the six million slaves that

2:15.5

are currently in bondage around the world right now, the 85,000 children
