Paul is not in a car, he's at home now and it has been a very challenging and exciting eight years for him.

We're going to talk about the mainstreamification of his audience

when he went from fringe comedian to Celebrity Quizen as the cinema on the chase, managing very, very neatly to leverage his passion,

his hobby into something that made him famous and I would imagine, decently wealthy as well, which is, is that the dream of every comedian to do something else?

Perhaps it is. We're also going to talk a little bit about how his comedy has changed, how that's changed as a reaction to his audience, the people he plays to,

the people that he hangs out with, as he does enjoy having a nice drink with strangers after a gig and which seems as me

a valuable as valuable away as any other to to source material and opinions we're

going to get stuck into all of that stuff and then we're also going to talk

about how he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Just after he had been diagnosed himself, well,

just after he had sort of pretty much diagnosed himself we're going to

get into detail on that and talk about how his comedy has changed from political

agitation or satire at least and to much more personal storytelling. This is a very COVID

unfriendly episode so with some of them I will try and point out in the

intros for future episodes whether or not I consider them COVID safe which is to say if you are trying to escape
