0:38.3	I'm doing okay today. I can't complain. I hope everyone listening out there. I hope
0:43.2	they're doing as well as possible and Tim, you don't complain often. How are you?
0:49.2	I'm doing great. Thanks a lot for asking. Except it's getting a little cold over here.
0:53.6	That's a little frustrating, but stop complaining. I know right there. Now that you called
0:59.5	it out, I had to. And in this episode, Lance, we speak with a lovely woman named Lori. She
1:08.5	is the mom of a missing person named Jacob Michael Oliveira. Jacob was 23 years old when
1:14.9	he went missing. He's five, six, 120 pounds. And he's been missing since August 24, 2011
1:24.0	from Everglades National Park in Homestead, Florida.
1:27.8	This one is a real hard one to wrap your head around. There's not a whole lot of indication
1:33.2	as to why his car was found there. And there's some conjecture. And again, one of these
1:38.1	situations where he's been missing for over 10 years going on 13 years now, right? So
1:43.7	next year in August, we'll be 13 years. His mom still doesn't have any answers. And she's
1:48.4	just struggling to figure out what her son was doing, where he was going. If he was even
1:53.6	driving the car, so it's another one of those situations where the time just keeps passing
1:59.6	and feels like the more the time passes, the more of the detail is just kind of get lost
2:06.7	to history.
2:07.7	Indeed. And Lori has worked with John Ferezo in this case. John Ferezo, of course, volunteers
2:14.9	his time at private investigations for the missing. He's a former homicide detective and
2:20.4	current private investigator. And this case came to us by way of private investigations
2:25.3	for the missing. He did make the recommendation that we speak with Lori to cover this case.
2:31.8	And Lori does mention in this conversation that Jacob was a recovering drug addict.
