Hello everyone here's a new episode of the podcast for you to listen to that's the idea

you're supposed to listen to it you know that don't you of course you do that's obvious

anyway in this episode I'm about to talk to you about superheroes for about an hour, and that's

definitely going to be good for your listening, especially if you listen to the whole thing.

And we know that improving your listening has knock on effects in other areas of your English,

like your pronunciation and your vocabulary and stuff like that. But I always say that this podcast is most beneficial to your English when you combine it with other things, when you combine it with active study or practice.

and it ended up being quite long which is fairly typical I suppose the total

recording time for this particular episode was over 90 minutes and I thought that's a bit long, isn't it? That is a little bit long for a single episode.

Ideally, these episodes are about one hour in length. That's what I

think is the ideal length, about one hour. But I often end up recording more than that. I often end up talking for more than an hour

just because I have too many things to say to you and because time flies when you're having fun, right?

It seems that whenever I press the record button, time just speeds up.

So I end up speaking for more than an hour in some cases, like for example this episode.
