| 0:41.4 | This is Drey Baldwin. And work on your game. Work on your game. Work on your game. This is Drey Baldwin, and work on your game is the system that turns discipline into dominance. Today's topic is the assumptions that |
| 0:47.9 | strangers make about you. Now, just as we talked about in the last two episodes about how men |
| 0:53.7 | size each other up, I understand that every stranger is always sizing up every other stranger they come across, whether we're talking man, woman, or child. So most people don't know and don't care or know your story. They don't know and don't care to know your resume or your reality, what you're dealing with in your life and what you got going on. Most people don't get with damn about any of that shit the same way that you don't care about that shit for most of the people you come across. And they never will. They're not even trying to figure it out. But even though that's true, understand this. And think about this, you do it to other people. People will still put you in a box within mere seconds by simply looking at you. Is this true? Do you put people in a box within mere seconds by just looking at them without knowing anything about them? You just decide who they are, what they're about. And after you make that quick snap judgment, you just keep it moving with the rest of your life. Malcolm Gladwell wrote a whole book about this called Blink. And many others have written books about it too,, but that book is probably one of the most famous about this exact thing. If you haven't read that |
| 1:47.8 | book, I suggest you do. Now, there are some things that will be based on your presence, on your |
| 1:54.0 | appearance, on your energy, any signals that you're giving off, even if you don't realize |
| 1:58.4 | that you're giving off the signals. All of these things matter on even your smell. If you have a distinctive smell and people note it, if there's something distinctive about the way you clothe yourself, people note, people can note your height, your dress, who you're with, what kind of car you're dropping, what kind of sneakers you have on. All of these things, people put you into boxes and make decisions about you based on them. And again, |
| 2:18.1 | each person can make different decisions based on different things because different stuff |
| 2:21.0 | means different things to different people. For example, I was at the park with my son about two |
| 2:25.6 | weeks ago and this kid came up to me and my son is as of this recording three years old. And this |
