This week we're going to talk about books, the book club back in session.

And I have three fine people here to talk about the works of NK. Jemison,

who I first discovered when her debut novel, The 100,000 Kingdoms, was nominated for the

Nebula Award and the Hugo Award in 2010. She's written a bunch of books since, including

some fantastic books like Hugo Winner the fifth season, which we talked about in that

in 2016 when it was nominated for Hugo and Nibula, joining me to talk about NK. Jemison,

specifically the fifth season and its sequel Theopolis Gate, but also more generally about her

episodes we do without him. It's Scott McNulty. Hi, Scott. Hi. I only read the finest books. So whatever book,

if you see a book club that I'm not on, you know that book is not

very good. Take that Neil Gaiman. Yeah. And Stephen King. Those, those people, they're not going

anywhere. They're failures washed up, I say. Scott says, anyway. No, I think he means they're not

going anywhere because they're staying at the top of the charts.

Yeah, it could also be nice.
