Hello, my name is Annie Rogers, and on behalf of the Attitude Team, I would like to welcome

you to today's ADHD Experts broadcast on the Interplay of ADHD Symptoms and Behavioral

Issues. Today's session will focus on productive practical strategies to handle outbursts, meltdowns,

defiance, and strong emotions, all of which we know are only exacerbated by nearly 12 months now

in a pandemic. So we will learn a hierarchy of techniques that parents, caregivers can use to

increase positive interactions and behavior effective discipline strategies to manage problematic

behavior at home and suggestions for adapting discipline techniques to the challenges of hybrid

remote online in-person schooling. We're very, very fortunate and thankful to welcome to

leading today's session, Dr. Dave Anderson. Dave Anderson, PhD, he's a clinical psychologist,

and the Vice President of School and Community Programs at the Child Mine Institute. Dr. Anderson

was formerly the senior director of the Child Mine Institute's ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center,

and he specializes in evaluating and treating children and adolescents with ADHD,

behavior, anxiety, and mood disorders. Child Mine Institute's school-based programs,

directed by Dr. Anderson, have provided clinical interventions as well as social emotional skill

building, professional development, and workshops for more than 50,000 students, educators,

and parents. Dr. Anderson frequently lectures and leads workshops on a variety of topics

for parents, educators, and policymakers. He received his bachelors from Dartmouth and his

doctorate in clinical psychology from Columbia University. So before I hand over the mic to Dr.
